Our Story
As a mom of three, I know the perils of having kids who love jumping on the furniture. Our living room couch was begging for relief, and we were searching for a better option.
We decided they needed their own couch to play, jump on, and build with; this is how our story began. We began researching and found that the available options were expensive and not waterproof (a necessary thing with kids). Not seeing a play couch that met the needs of all the parents we knew, I set out to design one.
I worked with many different manufacturers to find the perfect materials and design. The best part is that it turned into a family affair, as my kids got to help every step of the way. After multiple attempts, the mom made, kid approved Acorn Couch was born.
We proudly offer a couch with a thicker base and trapezoid-style pillow that uses US CertiPur foam. The kids chose the chenille fabric over other materials for its softness which is excellent for resting after playtime.
The couch needed to be waterproof. Every parent would agree that spills always happen (even as adults). Every couch and pillow is made with a waterproof liner that can be thrown in the wash and come out looking brand new.
